Help Sculpt the Skull!
Saturday, March 18, 11 am – 3 pm

In conjunction with Maine Science Festival and the Bangor Public Library, UMMA will opens its doors to art makers ages 10 and up to help sculpt a giant human skull! This skull will later be on display at the library to celebrate the upcoming Smithsonian exhibit happening there in April. This event is FREE, and for ages 10 +.

Each year the University of Maine Museum of Art offers a variety of community programming for children, adults, and families. Our events include opening receptions with the artists, gallery talks, conferences, workshops, family days, and lectures. Additionally, UMMA offers group tours that can be tailored to your individual needs. These tours are free and may also include activities if so desired.
