Instructor: Alyssa Oxley

Alyssa Oxley resides in Pittsfield, Maine, where she maintains her own teaching studio. Oxley earned her BS in Studio Art from Skidmore College. Years of experience in Graphic and Interior Design contribute to her current sculptural work in kiln-formed glass. These works combine references to the endless wintry wonders of snow and ice formations, and images of memory. Oxley also worked for 6 years as a coldworker and studio assistant to glass artist Martin Kremer. Her work can be found in a number of galleries and collections across the country and was featured in Glass Craftsman Magazine, April/May 2008 and The Bangor Daily News, February 2010 which you can read HERE.
